~ July 2nd Saturdayz was great!! ~

It was the BEST 2nd Saturdayz ever!!!

As people entered 2nd Saturdayz Chuck was there to greet them! 

 (Chuck is the canadian goose)

 

Our antique buggy didn't last long..sold as soon as the doors opened!

Some of our fresh florals and remember our shop's european style bouquets are available daily and flowers for all occasions.

 

Vintage millinery flowers on a turn of the century wooden skirt form..very unique.

 Our new friend and customer Linda found herself a vintage teapot. Isn't she purdy?

And our goodie bags full of vintage millinery trim and flowers are always popular.

~ Alameda trip and Bell'occhio ~ ~

We took a short trip to the June Alameda Antique Market.  The shopping was so interesting that we snapped only a few photos.  The displays in this space were stunning.

Kris was doing a bit of serious shopping.

~  BELL'OCCHIO  ~

At least 20 years ago we found a charming little shop in San Francisco.  Bell’occhio is the name.  We are ribbon and millinery hoarders.  As you can see why this is at the top of the list for MUST DO!.  They are tucked into a corner, a block from Mission Street on Brady.  

Pictured is Claudia the owner and her assistant.  Claudia was sooooo gracious and allowed photos.

 

The time flew by as we chose our ribbons and goodies. 

The shaped boxes are special, new ones are the bees and mushrooms. We have all the funky boxes except the mushroom.  Well we had one and gave it away as a gift (something that happens quite often).

~ April 2nd Saturdayz ~

The April 2nd Saturdayz was amazing.

Many friends came by and we made loads of new friends.

Thanks Rachel for taking lovely photos.

The sun was shining and the light was so bright, but you nailed it!
